Members of the Social Life Ministries are called to serve St. Richard parish through various social organizations and events. These ministries focus on providing opportunities where Christian values and faith and love for God and each other, can be shared through friendship and fellowship.

Athletic Association
Coordinates team sports for children of the parish who are interested in participating. Currently four organized sports for children are sponsored: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball. For information call Chairperson Kevin Landmann 569-3635. View your team's record or schedule on the CYC web site.
Coffee and Doughnuts
Held the first Sunday of the month, coffee and doughnuts are served in O'Brien Hall after the 7:30, 9:00, and 11:00 AM Masses (October - May). Families new to the parish are especially invited to meet the members of their parish. For more information or to volunteer to help call Rob Binek 995-5307.
Girl Scouts
Open to all girls of the parish who are interested in Scouting. Activities take place between September and May. For the Girl Scout Sunday celebration in March, all scouts are invited, regardless of the school they attend. For information contact Judy Jung 993-4598.
Ladies Bowling League
Open to all women of the parish and their friends who are interested in the sport of bowling and the good exercise involved. Season extends from September - April. For information, call Sue LaFever 432-4517.
Ladies Club of St. Richard
We invite you to share in the rewarding experience of the Ladies Club of St. Richard. Our ages range from thirty-something to seventy-something. We are married, single, have kids, no kids, grandkids and great-grandkids! Contacts: Ginny Nicholas 989-0872 or Charlotte Cole 567-3075.
Leisure Club
Open to all mature adults, members participate in and enjoy many activities and pleasant times together. Meetings are 11:00 AM on the third Tuesday of each month in the Chichester room. Contact: Judy Dunn 567-9632.
Men's Club of St. Richard
The purpose of the St. Richards Men's Club shall be to provide a forum for meeting and interacting with other men in the St. Richard congregational community in order to foster friendship, support, and brotherhood with a focus of lifelong learning and service to the church, school, and parish of St. Richard. Membership is open to any male member of St. Richard parish. Contact: John Mansfield 983-0609.
Pancake Breakfast
A pancake/sausage breakfast is held twice a year—usually the second Sunday in December and the second Sunday in February. The breakfast is held after the 7:30 and 9:00 AM Masses and offers parishioners an opportunity to socialize and meet each other. John Blum 872-7130 is the chairperson and is always looking for volunteers.
Parade and Picnic
A day of fun and fellowship for all ages. This year's picnic will be September 12, 2009. For further details or to participate contact: Tim Flanagan 994-1328.
Playgroup
Open to all parents of the parish. Our group is a social group where the adults can socialize and the children play and meet new friends. If you are new to the parish this is a wonderful way to meet other parents. Our children's ages range from infants to 12 years old (during the summer months). We meet every Tuesday at various parks around our area. During the colder months we gather at each other's homes or go to indoor events such as West County Mall and the Butterfly House. Seafood Dinners
Held on Friday evenings during Lent. Different Parish Organizations act as volunteer cooks and servers. Contact: Gordon Hartweger, Jr. 983-9739.
